Vote for the Union Pacific Steam Train

The Union Pacific Railroad will be running a special steam train along the one of  four possible routes that receives the most votes from visitors to its website http://upexcursion.com/.  The "Little Rock Express" which will begin in Kansas City and stop, among other places, in  Bald Knob, Arkanas before ending in Little Rock is currently in 2nd place in the voting.  Visitors to the website must register and then may place one vote per day until the deadline which is set for January 17.  After registering (they will send one confirmation email only) you can earn extra points by sharing the link on your facebook and twitter accounts.  Sign up today to help bring this rare Steam Train to Arkansas.

  1. I was trying to read more about this. Is this going to be a passenger or a transport route?

  2. I voted every day from when this post went up. I'm glad to see Little Rock won, but I have the same question as The Fashionable Traveler. I was looking forward to taking this trip myself. But is it even a passenger train or is it just a train that you see when it comes through your town?
