Candy Cane Dip

Sunshine of Make Life Delicious shares this yummy dessert dip with us. Check out her blog for more recipes!

I attended ‘Tis the Season (a ladies Christmas fellowship) at church last Friday, where we could choose 3 classes to go to to learn different Christmas skills (decorating, cooking, crafts, etc.). I went to a cooking class titled Tasty Treats & Eats taught by a friend. She had several great holiday recipes she shared (more of them to come!). This one being my favorite! It is SO easy and is sure to be a favorite!

It’s a great dish to take to holiday parties, pot lucks and the like. It also makes a great topping for hot cocoa!

Ingredients
1/2 Cup crushed peppermint candy canes
12 oz. Cool Whip, thawed
Wafer Cookies

Directions
Fold crushed peppermint into whipped topping (the easiest and fastest way to crush is by using a food processor…Warning-it is rather loud!). Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before serving, stir dip to distribute the peppermint bits. Serve with wafers. To make a great presentation it can be served with Pepperidge Farms Pirouette Créme Filled Wafers!

Hi! My name is Sunshine Crawford. I'm a native Texas having been lead by the Lord to move Arkansas a little over five years ago, which is where I found my future husband! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 4 years and we are expecting our first child in August! We are so excited and blessed to become parents. We also have one spoiled black dog, Riley. He loves ice cream, peanut butter and having his tummy rubbed!

I have been blogging for a little over 2 years now. When I first started blogging I had no idea what I would ever write about. It didn’t take me long to discover that I not only enjoyed cooking food, but I enjoy sharing these great recipes with others! I am a full-time working wife, so most of the recipes you will find on my blog Make Life Delicious are quick and easy….but not lacking in taste! I love blogging and am thankful to my husband for encouraging me to do so!

    1. Your "Tis the Season" fellowship sounds wonderful. Would you care to expound on what you did, what kind of classes were held, etc.? Sounds like something we could incorporate into our women's ministry here in Katy, TX.
