Welcome to Arkansas Women Bloggers! We want this to be a place where women of all different backgrounds from all over the state can gather to make friends, share experiences, and be inspired.
First, let's link up women who love to blog in the natural state. Add your blog by using Mr. Linky below. Post your name and blog address and then leave a comment and tell us your location. We will arrange them by cities/areas as we get them.
If you are interested in submitting a blog post, please email me at arkansasbloggers@gmail.com. We want to hear about anything and everything --- decorating, style, child training, marriage, photography, recipes, wellness, places to visit, eat or just enjoy in Arkansas. We look forward to getting to know one another! A blog meet up and a small conference are in the works, let us know if you are interested in being a part of either of those.
Now, go grab the button at the right and join our group of women bloggers from the natural state.
This is "Hope in a Jar" blogger! Thanks for making the Arkansas Women Bloggers site - proud to support anything from Arkansas! Currently sitting in the closet while the tornado sirens go off - trying to keep my two Chihuahuas in the closet with me is tricky!
ReplyDeleteI'm located in LR. Also in closet, but with 2 and 3 year old kids - similar to chihuahuas! also typing with one hand!
ReplyDeleteWell I didn't get in the closet but it was scary there for a while. We had hail and lots of wind and all the yard work my husband did for the last two days is probably to do over again tomorrow. Marlene on Lake Catherine in Hot Springs

ReplyDeleteHey I'm Lauren from Leaving a Legacy and I live in the Searcy area!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm Cathy, and we live in central Arkansas. My blog is Arkie Mama. I'm mom to two -- a 5-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter -- and stepmom to two stepteens. My stepson is in the Coast Guard (he graduated from high school last year) and my stepdaughter will graduate from high school this spring.
ReplyDeleteThis is Yavonda of Baby and the Beasts. I live in North Little Rock with my husband, our 8-month-old daughter, two cats and a puggle.

ReplyDeleteMy blog is Mouthy Kid, Moody Mom. After a long battle with endometriosis, I was blessed with a happy healthy baby girl that I nicknamed Bear. When she was 2 1/2 years old my battle with endo ended with a complete hysterectomy. My blog name was taken from a combination of a mom with hot flashes and a sassy child.
Glad to meet up with everyone on here! I'm Heidi, and my blog is "In the Family Way" on the Little Rock Mamas site. I have a 2-year-old daughter and twins on the way.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of us blogging here in the Natural State!
ReplyDeleteI'm Leigh Austin of She's Crafty, part of the Little Rock Mamas family. On my blog, I share wonderful and creative tips and ideas I've picked up on the net and from my wonderful friends. I love projects and crafts you can do with your family or for yourself...all done between the laundry/cooking/cleaning/FT job and hanging out with my husband and four year old son.
Life is hectic, but I try to make it more colorful and fun! Hope to see you pop on over....
My blog is a little different from the normal format. I write a weekly column for the Benton Courier and post it to my two social networks, http://MySaline.com and http://Arkansite.com. I have 1 husband, 2 kids, 1 grand, and 3 dogs. I'm a newspaper columnist, social network host, community activist, and graphic designer. I'm snarky, dorky, mischievous, gadgety, and couchish. I love making new local connections and encourage anyone to join (free) either of my social networks and get to know people there.
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome idea. I love reading blogs, especially from women that live in the same great state as I do! And this will allow me to do just that!
ReplyDeleteI love this, what a great idea! I live near Fayetteville.
ReplyDeleteSo glad The Park Wife told me about this!!! :) I'm Gina. My husband of 20 years and I live in the Little Rock area where I'm often mistaken as the grandmother of my four young children (yes, seriously...and even with my hair highlighted to hide the gray!). I'm living proof that God has an incredible sense of humor...I'll be 45 in a few months, I have a two-year-old. {I see you all laughing!}. I most often use my blog as a baby book. If I don't write it down somewhere, I'll forget it!

ReplyDeleteHello ladies! I'm new to this site, but not to the blogging world. I've been writing about whatever enters this crazy brain of mine for a couple of years now. I blog about beauty, life, domestic diva tips, interior design, and, formerly, plastic surgery. I'm an AR girl, former plastic surgery guru turn non-profit cancer advocate, public health obsessed, happily married mom to two fur babies, and a lot of other things rolled into one.
